Train Now To Be Ready When Needed
It pays to be ready! With the new storm headed our way, we need to be prepared for any cleanup or recovery efforts needed!
This coming Saturday, August 26, there will be specialized disaster relief training for those interested in ministering during a disaster.
This training will cover:
1. Chainsaw training for individuals and groups that desire to minister by removing trees and debris from homes and personal property.
2. Feeding unit training for those who desire to minister by preparing and serving meals during a disaster.
This training will be held at First Baptist Church DeRidder. Registration will be from 8:00-9:00 AM and training will be held from 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM. Lunch will be provided!
Cost
Current DR trained volunteers = No charge for retraining (Bring ID)
First time attendees = $28.00 ($8 for required background check, $5 for ID, $7 cap, & $8 shirt)
Expired ID’s = $13.00 ($5 for renewal and $8 for background check.)
